Product Information
If you have a bike that fits the following specs, you can fit a vabsRider:
1. Allows a seat post length of 270mm/10.6 inches
2. Has one of the following seat post diameter options:
• 27.2 mm/ 1.07 inches
• 30.9 mm/ 1.22 inches
• 31.6 mm/ 1.24 inches
To determine the length and diameter of your seat post, remove the seat post from your bike and look for inscribed details along the seat post.
If your bike model does not have its seat post measurements inscribed, it may be worth searching the internet to find the details or visiting your local bike shop.
Please have you seat post dimension confirmed before backing/ordering the vabsRider. If you back our vabsRider on Kickstarter, we will then confirm your particular size requirements during the survey and confirmation process.

Read the Product SpecificationsSince most exercise bikes have a different mounting system to other bikes, they are unlikely to fit the vabsRider. Our custom seat post cannot be modified in any way, as it is a critical part of the design's structure. However, if you have another bike, you can fit a vabsRider to it as long as it fits a 270mm long seat post and has one of our offered seat post sizes: • 27.2 mm/ 1.07 inches • 30.9 mm/ 1.22 inches • 31.6 mm/ 1.24 inches

Read the Product SpecificationsThe vabsRider seat post length is 270mm/10.6 inches, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of analogue and electric bikes for a secure fit.
We also offer the following three seat post diameters:
• 27.2 mm/ 1.07 inches
• 30.9 mm/ 1.22 inches
• 31.6 mm/ 1.24 inches
The set width between the vabsRider's seat pads is 50 mm.
However, all vabsRiders will be provided with a 20mm width expander, meaning you can increase the width to 70 mm.
We will soon provide video instructions for how to adjust the width using a screwdriver or hex key.
Although our current design has tried to be as universal as possible, we have had some limitations with this first offering. A dropper post cannot be used with the vabsRider although we expect new versions and models into the future.
Pre-order the vabsRider to be among the first people in the world to experience revolutionary cycling comfort.
Pre-Order the vabsRiderThe vabsRider has a weight limit of 100kg (220lbs).
This limit aligns with the testing requirements set by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), which ensures bike seats meet rigorous safety and performance standards.
The vabsRider is designed to eliminate the need for suspension which is why it's not integrated in the design.
Pressure Mapping studies already prove up to 80% reduction in pressure so there is no need to add additional pressure-lowering measures like suspension.
If you'd like to know more, you can check out our Pressure Mapping blog.
However, we may potentially investigate adding suspension in future vabsRider designs.
Put short: no, the vabsRider is not compatible with suspension seat posts.

While the vabsRider does not come with an anti-theft device, riders can secure the vabsRider with most traditional cable bicycle locks.
These cable locks should easily loop through the two vabsRider rails, your bicycle frame, and any preferred fixed point for security.
This way, cyclists can use existing locks to secure their bicycles and the vabsRider!
